Carol A. Gotha, 55 of Temperance, MI, died Thursday, April 3, 2014, in The Toledo Hospital after a brief illness. Born December 13, 1958 in Mt. Clemens, MI, she was the daughter of Robert and Mary (Spiga) Conklin.  She married John R. Gotha on April 1, 2005.  Carol was employed by Dollar General in Temperance for the last 5 years.  She attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance and  loved her dogs, Sherlock and Watson, music, her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband, John.  Daughters, Jennyca (Richard) Mitchell and Jamie (Lee Olson) Richardson. Mother, Mary Conklin.  Sisters, Linda (James) Plank, Dianne (Lonnie) Verbon, Judy (David) Baldwin. Grandchildren; Dustin, Maddie, Hanna, Alivea, Kaly, R.J. and great granddaughter, Aburee. She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Sunday, April 6, 2014, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where the Rosary will be prayed Sunday at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 7, 2014, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Ave., Temperance, MI, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am. Memorials may be made to Planned Pethood, Monroe Humane Society or Toledo Area Humane Society.  www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
